Days of future past sounds confusing, its a hard to understand time travel movie

I think days of future past will be boring because i don't really like time travel movies plus, x men is just not interesting the only characters they focus on is wolverine,Xavier,magneto, and mystique.
However this movie could be good, if directed properly.
